Built from a real need
We spent hours every month consolidating financials manually in Excel. Expensive enterprise software was the only alternative — so we decided to build our own.
The story
We managed multiple Exact Online administrations for a group of entities. Every month we copied balances into Excel, reconciled intercompany entries and manually built a consolidated balance sheet. It took half a day each time — with plenty of room for error.
Consolidation software already existed, but it was aimed exclusively at large enterprises with budgets of thousands of euros per year and lengthy implementation projects. For SMEs there was simply no affordable option.
Consolidr is our answer to that. We took the core of what consolidation means — fetching balances, applying intercompany eliminations, generating one clear overview — and turned it into a simple web application that's ready in minutes.
